It is a joy to be back home and give a short report of this wonderful opportunity of traveling with Ruthy to Granada, Nicaragua. But is even more humbling to serve such leaders as the ones present in the national seminar held by Haggai Institute in Nicaragua, a dear country that is in our hearts.
We traveled for two days to get to Granada with one night in Costa Rica. It was a little tiring but it was worth the trip, Ruth is a great companion, she likes to try new food so the first night we were hunting for food, but since it was past nine pm almost everything was closed so we failed.
The modules I facilitated were Biblical Models of evangelism and one session on Mandate (the urgency to evangelize). There were 17 leaders among which were Pastors, and Professionals that held some leadership positions in their churches. There were facilitators from Panama (missionary and a professional communicator), El Salvador (a Microbiologist and a Neurosurgeon) and Nicaragua (lawyer, administrator and actress as well) with modules such as goals, context (different believes), integrity of the leader, stewardship, and other modules that are of growth and challenge to the participants. Even Ruth was asked to do a drama on a person with a pluralism thinking in order for the participants to try to reach her and win her for Christ, it was hard.
Panama will be holding their National Seminar in August 22-25 and our prayers are for a complete number of participants (a max of 25 participants are allowed), being organized by the alumni stationed in Panama city and God willing David will also hold a regional Seminar on January next year. We continually pray for our Lord to use any means to inspire and influence His Church in the intentionality for evangelism and discipleship.
Our hearts goes out in prayer for God’s blessing to be upon your family and ministry as follower of Jesus.
